Job Description

With a strong presence in the UK, we are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us grow within the industrial refrigeration sector.

As a Sales Engineer in the Industrial Refrigeration sector , you will be responsible for driving the growth of our product and solution offerings to contractors, end-users, and wholesale partners within the UK and Ireland. You will play a key role in building relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to ensure our products meet the needs of the market.

This is a Field-based position with occasional travel to the office in Uxbridge.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Sales Growth: Drive sales of industrial refrigeration systems, products, and solutions to contractors, end-users, and wholesalers, focusing on new business acquisition and growth within existing accounts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Application : Provide technical knowledge and advice on industrial refrigeration products, solutions and applications
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Create and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to customers, demonstrating how our products and solutions meet their needs and help solve their challenges.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Solution Design Support: Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to provide technical support for custom or complex system solutions.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular updates on sales progress, market feedback, and forecasts to senior management, ensuring that targets are met.

Background & Skills

We are looking for candidates with experience in the refrigeration sector, ideally within industrial refrigeration. A strong understanding of refrigeration systems, products, and solutions is essential, as is the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience.

A relevant qualification within the refrigeration industry is preferred. A degree in engineering—mechanical, electrical, or a related technical discipline—is advantageous, although candidates with equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Experience with industrial refrigeration applications, such as cold storage, food processing, or pharmaceuticals, is highly desirable.

Candidates must be based in the UK and hold a full, valid UK driving license, as travel within the region is required.

Personal Qualities

To succeed in this role, you should be a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills. You are confident in engaging with customers at all levels and are open to developing your sales skills in a technical, industrial environment.

We value individuals who are self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing their own sales pipeline. You take initiative and are driven to meet—and exceed—targets. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management tools is a plus.
