Job Requirements:

The Industrial Filtration Sales Engineer oversees all commercial and sales activities for Industrial Filtration roll goods and filter bag sales. The role involves driving sales activities that strengthen customer relationships and meet or exceed business goals.


Responsibilities:
  • Display technical expertise regarding the entire product portfolio, including limitations and applications.
  • Provide technical support by working directly with customers to understand requirements, resolve installation issues, and recommend suitable products.
  • Create detailed bid proposals and formal quotations.
  • Maintain awareness of the business and competitive landscape.
  • Build relationships with customers through effective communication.
  • Provide product samples as needed.
  • Develop presentation materials to educate customers about product use.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to facilitate non-standard product fabrication and coordinate project schedules.
  • Assist in developing product information and case studies for marketing and sales.
  • Work collaboratively across departments including Customer Service, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, NPD, and R&D.
  • Prepare annual sales budgets by territory and provide monthly forecasts.
  • Track opportunities in CRM systems such as CRM (Salesforce or MS Dynamics).
Qualifications/Experience:
  • B.S. degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of direct sales experience in Industrial Filtration or Technical Textiles.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Proven technical and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
