Job description

A leading network and digital infrastructure provider is seeking a Sales Engineer with a deep understanding of Collaboration technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Teams and Unified Communications (UC). If you're passionate about modern workplace solutions and customer experience, this is your chance to shape next-generation collaboration environments.

In this client-facing, pre-sales engineering role, you’ll play a pivotal part in helping customers reimagine how they communicate and collaborate—across offices, remote teams, and hybrid environments. As the subject matter expert in Microsoft Teams, you’ll work closely with account managers to scope, design, and deliver modern, impactful collaboration solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Workshops & Discovery: Understand business needs and translate them into technical collaboration solutions.
  • Solution Architecture: Design Microsoft Teams-based communication and collaboration platforms (including Direct Routing, Teams Rooms, Voice integration).
  • Demo & Proof-of-Concept: Deliver engaging demonstrations and PoCs of Microsoft Teams solutions, including video conferencing, voice, and device integration.
  • Bid Support: Collaborate on proposals, tender documents, and technical input for RFPs.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Solid experience with **Microsoft Teams**, **M365**, and modern UC platforms. Understanding of SBCs, SIP, voice gateways, and Teams telephony.
  • Certifications: MS-700 or equivalent Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Complementary Skills: Exposure to Zoom, Webex, or other collaboration stacks is a bonus.
  • Communication & Delivery: Strong presentation skills and ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £60,000–£80,000 DOE
  • Commission: 10%–25% OTE
  • Work Setup: Hybrid model – 2–3 days per week in the London office or on client site
  • Development: Access to paid training and certifications in Microsoft and UC platforms
