This is a chance to take on an area, make it your own, and be part of the growth of an amazing business and team!

All you really need to be successful is a great attitude and excellent relationship building skills; there is a thriving client region ready for someone to take hold of and make their own.

The company we are hiring for has been in business for over 30 years and designs, manufactures, supplies, and installs goods for use in the aggregates and concrete industries among others. They are the undisputed European leader in the manufacture of polyurethane products and are a global leader in their field. They have continually and consistently strengthened their position and expanded into new international markets. Directly or indirectly, the company and their products are currently present in 49 countries on 6 continents. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their team in the UK.

They have an outstanding reputation in their industry, have an enviable track record of delivering, and their customer focus and service levels are second to none.

Most of the time you will be on the road in Scotland, visiting customer sites, maintaining and building relationships, taking measurements etc., with one administration day a week working from home.

Area Sales Engineer – Role Overview:
  • Acquire and develop new customers in the aggregates and concrete industry across Scotland.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer visits to maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Build a knowledge base of the industry (quarrying specifically), with regards to company products, to be able to give technical advice on product and solutions selection in plants.
  • Generate sales that will offer potential continuous relationships.
  • Ensure the most effective product solutions are provided to customers.
  • Measure on-site for the supply of materials and solutions in plants.
  • Diary management.
  • Customer data management.
  • Follow up on quotes provided and materials supplied.
  • General customer liaison and gathering of feedback.
Area Sales Engineer – Candidate Requirements:

To be successful in the Area Sales Engineer role you will need to possess the motivation, aptitude, and ability to make the most of this fantastic role.

You will need to be able to manage, build, and maintain excellent customer relationships while building sales and pipelines, managing your own diary.

We are looking for the knowledge and experience of the following:
