We are a global manufacturer of bespoke engineering products seeking a Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Field Sales Engineer to manage our sales pipeline from lead generation to final negotiation. The role involves calling new customers, attending meetings in person and via Teams to create new business opportunities, and winning new projects.

This position is remote, based in the South of England, including Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, or Hampshire. Candidates must be able to read engineering/technical drawings.

The ideal candidate has a background in Mechanical Engineering (BEng, HND, HNC) and experience as a Sales Engineer, Business Development Executive, Manager, or a technical engineer looking to move into sales.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to negotiation
• Call new customers and attend meetings to generate business and secure projects
• Read technical drawings to support customers and provide technical solutions
• Deliver presentations to prospects about services offered
• Achieve sales targets
• Coordinate with internal sales team to meet customer requirements
• Work remotely, traveling within the South of England and Midlands, ideally based in the South

Requirements:

• Experience as a Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or a technical background aiming for a sales role
• Mechanical engineering background (BEng, HNC, HND) preferred but not essential
• Ability to interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work remotely and meet customers across the South of England up to the Midlands
