Sales Engineer

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative required for an established engineering company supplying CNC machinery and other capital equipment.

The successful candidate will provide product advice and manage the sales process including generating quotations, processing orders, raising purchase orders and invoices, documentation, proposals and other aspects of sales support for CNC machines and other capital equipment.

We're looking for someone with experience selling CNC machinery / capital equipment / CNC machine tools / engineering products or similar, ideally located within a commutable distance to the office just outside of Birmingham.

Package

£50,000-£65,000 (Dependent on experience)

The Role

1. Convert incoming technical enquiries into sales
2. Deliver product demonstrations at the company's on-site showroom
3. Prepare quotations and proposals
4. Build relationships with new and existing clients across engineering and manufacturing sectors
5. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
6. Maintain activity records using CRM tools and contribute to monthly sales targets
7. Commutable to office just outside of Birmingham

Requirements

1. Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative or similar
2. Engineering background, with experience selling CNC machinery / capital equipment / machine tools / engineering products or similar
3. Full product training is provided
4. Within commutable distance to office just outside of Birmingham
