What your role will look like:

The Sales Engineer collaborates with the UK & Ireland sales team in a pre-sales capacity to develop and position solutions using Genetec’s products. Our portfolio includes Video, Access Control, and LPR. Working closely with Account Executives, the SE handles all technical aspects of the sales process and remains involved with clients post-purchase.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Genetec's software and hardware products.
  • Identify solutions best suited to customer and partner requirements.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Deliver high-level demonstrations of our products.
  • Provide technical support to sales teams based on customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with the technical support team to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales and successful implementation.
  • Participate in security trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars.
  • Create white papers and become a subject matter expert on Genetec solutions.
  • Gather technical feedback from the field for Product Management.
  • Implement complex software solutions.
