Role & Responsibilities

A renowned manufacturer of special-purpose equipment, with a long-standing reputation and national presence, is embarking on an exciting new programme of development. To support this growth, they are seeking a Sales Engineer / Executive to play a pivotal role in driving sales revenue and contributing to the company\'s ambitious growth targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected business at a key stage of its development and help shape its future success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across both divisions.
  • Make outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate leads and win work.
  • Re-engage lapsed customers and build strong relationships with trade and manufacturing clients.
  • Manage and support digital marketing campaigns (AdWords, Shopify optimisation, Marketplace listings, targeted email outreach).
  • Visit potential customers to present products and build long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with technical teams to deliver accurate quotations and tailored solutions.
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven B2B sales experience (ideally in construction, trade supplies, engineering, or industrial products).
  • Confident in both telephone and face-to-face sales.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own pipeline.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools (Shopify, AdWords, email platforms) desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
