Route 1 print is the UK's largest online trade printer. We process around 10,000 jobs each week, consisting of over 11 million printed items that include anything from menus in your local restaurant, right the way through to curating stunning books for luxury brands. This is where you come in, we are now seeking an ambitious and sales hungry Business Development Executive, that can nurture new and existing business to maximise spend and increase their life time value. Don't worry, we aren't expecting you to go in cold, all the clients you will be contacting will have either ordered from us before, or have recently signed up. What’s more, you’ll also have the opportunity to wander around our 165,000 sq ft factory and actually see the products being produced, to bring you even closer to what our clients want, what else could you ask for?

Route 1 Print puts significant emphasis on deploying the latest tech, enabling us to stay one step ahead of our competition. We were the first company in the world to invest in nanographic printing technology with the purchase of a Landa S10 (Wait until you see it, it's like a spaceship) we decided to do one better and get 2, with the latest S10P now in operation.

About the position:

  • Salary between £26,000 - £29,000 - OTE £53,000
  • This position is office based 5 days a week at our office in Manvers, Rotherham.
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
  • Weekly pay, every Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Retention & Growth: Proactively contact existing trade partners who show signs of declining activity. We want you to understand their challenges, offer them support, and help their businesses flourish. After all, if our partners win, you win. Your work will directly increase the average order value, average customer value, and frequency of orders from our current clients.
  • Relationship Revival: From time to time, our partners may be enticed to do business with our "pesky" competitors. Competition is healthy, right? We know you don't like losing, so it will be your job to bring them back on board and rebuild those crucial relationships.
  • Strategic Acquisition: Execute targeted outbound calling campaigns to trade printers we don't currently work with. Your goal is to introduce our value proposition, understand their needs, and begin the process of acquiring them as new trade partners.
  • Market Intelligence: Be the eyes and ears of the business. Take feedback from your partners on the next big market opportunities, allowing us to constantly evolve our product proposition to meet their evolving needs.
  • Competitive Strategy: Truly understand the competition. Use our unique selling propositions (USPs) to increase both partner retention and acquisition.

Bluetree's combined office, production, and training facilities are in Wath Upon Dearne, which is close to Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Doncaster.
