Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.

Role Overview
As a Sales Enablement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by supporting sales efforts you’re your technical expertise in Parameta’s stable of OTC data, software, platforms, infrastructure, and direct delivery services. You will work closely with regional institutional clients—including hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and proprietary trading firms—to understand their needs, demonstrate solutions, and ensure seamless integration of our data and technology offerings.

This role requires a blend of financial market knowledge, technical acumen, and consultative sales skills to articulate the value of real-time and historical OTC market data, Parameta’s cloud-based software solutions, API integrations, and direct data delivery options.

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate with regional sales teams to understand client requirements and recommend tailored solutions from the full suite of Parameta Solutions' offerings.

Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and workshops to showcase the value and application of our data and analytics products to prospective clients.

Provide expert guidance on data delivery mechanisms including FIX, REST APIs, WebSocket, SFTP, and Cloud-based solutions, with an emphasis on seamless integration into trading, risk, and analytics platforms.

Partner with internal teams to develop bespoke proposals and technical documentation aligned to specific client needs; relay client feedback to product management to support ongoing product enhancement and innovation.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic input on data utilisation, analytics deployment, and infrastructure best practices.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OTC financial markets, including FX, rates, credit, commodities, and derivatives, to contextualise client conversations and solutions.

Support post-sales implementation by ensuring smooth connectivity, data feed integration, and infrastructure deployment, while troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to market data delivery and software applications.

Work alongside sales and account management teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across Parameta’s solutions portfolio.

Maintain accurate records of sales engineering activities, including lead progression, pipeline health, and account status, using CRM tools to ensure visibility and data accuracy.

Consistently contribute to achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets relevant to the Sales Engineering function, driving business growth in software, platform, infrastructure, and direct data delivery services.

Experience / Competences

Experience in financial services, OTC trading, market data, or fintech, with a technical background.

Proven cross asset / product experience (Rates, FX, Energy & Commodities, Fixed Income, Credit).

Experience working with financial data APIs, trading platforms, and analytics tools.

Knowledge of trade, order and execution lifecycles from a data and messaging perspective.

Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Good understanding of cloud-based data delivery, APIs, and integration into trading and risk management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in a Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Comfortable working with an Agile methodology building rapid prototype(s).

Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Python.

Familiarity with trading and risk management platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, CQG or proprietary systems)

Experience and comfort in a client facing role.

Experience within the cloud space (AWS, EKS, GCP, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot).

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and time-manage coupled with strong attention to detail.

Ability to exercise tact and discretion and to be entrusted with confidential information

Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to apply cognitive thinking is a must.

Ability and energy to thrive in fast moving, fast growth entrepreneurial environment, have a ‘solution based’ mind set, and be proactive in driving improvements to processes and systems.
