ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a dynamic Sales Director to spearhead the expansion of Carwow's Sell My Car Service. At just three years old, this part of Carwow’s business is our fastest growing with more and more sellers choosing Carwow to help them get a great price for their vehicle.
This role reporting directly into the Chief Commercial Officer for Sell My Car is pivotal to delivering on that customer experience. By leading and evolving the Carwow sales teams and sales capabilities which help broker deals between sellers and buyers on our site, you’ll ensure that every car finds a buyer across our wide network of dealer partners.
While the majority of cars ‘sell themselves’ through our automated processes, a significant number need a more tailored approach: which we call ‘Second Chance’ where sales experts reach out to sellers and buyers to broker the sale.
You’ll be leading this experienced and highly qualified team of 20+ split between our London and Bournemouth offices, who handle thousands of contacts per day across key areas in our sales lifecycle, with sellers and buyers across five channels (inbound & outbound calls, email, messaging, Whatsapp) and you will be building out new teams to support our expansions in Europe (Germany and Spain).
It’s a fast paced, high performance environment that is constantly changing and where volumes and revenues are growing weekly. These teams are regularly called out by both sellers and dealers as a differentiator in the Carwow experience vs our competitors.
You will drive and lead every aspect of how this team operates and scales over time, delivering on revenue and conversion targets through constant operational improvements and innovations. A key part of your role will be working with the wider commercial and product organisation to identify other areas where your team is able to bring value, and to work with your Head of Sales Innovation to bring new initiatives to marketing, constantly innovating our offer for sellers and dealers.
