Job description
Overview

Are you a senior sales leader with a passion for premium packaging and a proven ability to drive commercial growth?

We are working with an established cartons manufacturer that is investing heavily in the expansion of its luxury packaging division. As part of this exciting next phase, they are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Sales Director to lead the development and execution of their commercial strategy within the luxury sector.

In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for building and growing a premium client base across sectors such as cosmetics, spirits, fashion, and high-end FMCG. You’ll develop the sales strategy from the ground up, identifying key market opportunities, opening new doors, and forging long-term partnerships with luxury brands. Working closely with the production and design teams, you’ll deliver tailored, high-end cartonboard packaging solutions that meet the exacting standards of premium clients.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in shaping the commercial direction of the division. As the team expands, you will also take on leadership responsibility—hiring, mentoring, and motivating a sales function that reflects the company’s commitment to quality and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in the luxury or premium packaging industry. You will bring a deep understanding of the demands and trends of the luxury market, along with a strong network across relevant sectors. You should be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on commercial leader, confident in your ability to open high-value accounts and close complex deals.

This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturer at a pivotal point in its growth. The role offers autonomy, influence, and the chance to leave a lasting mark on a newly formed division. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary package, performance-related bonuses, and strong long-term prospects within a dynamic and growing business.

If you’re ready to take your luxury packaging experience to the next level and help shape the future of a premium division, we want to hear from you.
