We are inviting applications for the role of Sales Director.
This role (based out of US, UK, and EU) is responsible for growing our business through "hunting new logos" and originating new deals.
Responsibilities
- Deal Origination: Responsible for opening business with new clients across various industries.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape. Use insights to shape business development strategies and approaches.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities aligned with the organization's strategic focus.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with Business Units, Data-Tech-AI Function, and Commercial/Pricing teams to craft compelling proposals that communicate the value of our services.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, ensure mutually beneficial agreements, and close deals timely to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Sales Management: Keep accurate records of all activities, including pipeline updates, client interactions, and sales metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, contribute to thought leadership by staying informed on industry trends, and share insights with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the professional services industry. Experience with consulting firms or managed services sales is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a hunting role is essential (industry relevance is a plus).
- Proven ability to lead and close end-to-end deals of $5M or larger.
- Understanding of the professional services landscape, especially in Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, and Insurance.
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in relevant tools, platforms, and systems, including AI concepts and applications.
