Sales Director - Electric Vehicle Chargers

Are you a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for the electric vehicle industry?

We are actively seeking a highly capable and experienced Sales Director to lead the growth of a dynamic electric vehicle charger business.

Location:

UK-based role requiring travel, commutable to Bristol

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the UK EVC business, including pricing, product development, channel strategy, and market penetration.
  2. Manage all commercial aspects of key accounts (KAMs), including contract negotiation and risk management.
  3. Develop and oversee the marketing budget, driving brand awareness and customer acquisition initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with R&D, sales, and after-sales teams to optimise product strategy and operations.
  5. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and after-sales team.
  6. Participate in business planning and strategic decision-making for the UK EVC business unit.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrotechnical/Electrical Engineering.
  2. Proven track record in business development and sales management within the UK e-mobility sector (KAM experience a plus).
  3. In-depth knowledge of the UK EVC market, including key players, technologies, and distribution channels.
  4. Experience managing sales and after-sales teams.
  5. Experience in public tender processes.
  6. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and market research plans.
  7. Strong IT skills (Office, CRM, Teams, SAP).
  8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
