We are searching for a talented Sales-focused Account Director, who has prior experience handling sales within the finance industry. You will bring your expertise and previous client relationships, becoming the go-to person for the company when identifying and strategizing opportunities for business growth within the finance sector. MUST HAVE BOTH FINANCE AND TELCO SECTOR EXPERIENCE.

You will have the ability to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

You will assist in the growth of their market-leading product and price point to help achieve both your and the business's goals for their investors. You will work directly with the Head of Sales and other key stakeholders across the business, such as the Head of Marketing, CSM, product, planning, and the installation team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Be the customer-facing representative of the company and product within the financial industry.
  2. Work your pre-existing network and build relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance industry, showcasing the benefits of the product and how it can help solve their connectivity challenges.
  3. Attend major conferences and networking events within the finance industry.
  4. Work closely with marketing, network, CSM, and build teams to seek out and maximize all sales opportunities.
  5. Drive a finance vertical-specific sales campaign to be the “Go-to person for high-end connectivity in London”.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to execute business plans and strategies for all industry-related business possibilities.
  7. Evaluate customer requirements and build business cases for the insurance landscape's needs and wants.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and lingo, and navigate their specific connectivity needs.
  9. Support management in contract development, customer negotiations, and product enhancements.
  10. Generate new sales from existing and new customers.

Experience:

  1. Demonstrable experience selling into the finance industry, with potential clients from day one.
  2. Experience working in a fast-paced B2B sales environment, preferably SaaS or Telco.
  3. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion to overachieve.
  4. Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools, preferably Salesforce and Outreach.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools, with the ability to learn new software and systems.
  6. Ability to articulate ideas clearly to a wide array of audiences.
  7. Ability to prioritize workload and meet targets.
  8. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making with senior audiences.
  9. Take personal responsibility to meet commitments and actively seek additional responsibilities, with attention to detail.
  10. Team player with good communication skills across stakeholders and peers.
  11. Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  12. Meet all sales KPIs both weekly and monthly.
  13. Flexible team player, willing to see tasks through to completion.
  14. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills; able to organize and prioritize competing tasks.
