Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales Director (UK) to lead and manage sales activities for multi-tenant data centre, hyperscale, and cloud customers, along with strategic channel partners in the United Kingdom. This role focuses on increasing sales and profit margins of the company's products and services, with a key emphasis on leadership, strategic planning, and customer engagement.

Job Details

This is an individual contributor role with no team management responsibilities. The position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage with various customer levels, including technical and executive management. Responsibilities include developing sales bids, presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell a diverse range of data centre solutions and services across the UK, including structured cabling, security, electrical, high-density cooling, networking, IoT, and Pro-AV solutions.
• Position company services for design, deployment, and product enhancement.
• Build and maintain partnerships within the company and with strategic vendors to enhance sales opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Utilize sales management tools for planning and documenting opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet quotas and motivate staff.
• Forecast sales and profit, and expand supplier relationships.
• Stay current with market trends and maintain professional knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 7+ years of industry-related sales experience.
• 5+ years of leadership and management experience at regional or national levels.
• Knowledge of business principles, strategic planning, and resource management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Strong time management and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel 25%-50%.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based, with travel to customer sites or warehouses as needed. Driving may be required, and outdoor weather conditions could be encountered.
