We aim to make a difference in the business world and are looking for a Sales Director to join our team and help us achieve our mission.

Role Overview

As the Sales Director, you will build, grow, and maintain relationships with named enterprise customers. You will play a key role in achieving sales quotas and other objectives, developing and penetrating named accounts, and representing the entire range of the Company's offerings. You will also ensure that customer needs and expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Direction: Provide leadership and direction across named client bases to ensure maximum engagement and deep, strategic relationships.
  • Customer Insight: Understand customers' operations, workflows, and unmet needs.
  • Penetration Planning: Develop and implement penetration plans for each named account to integrate Windward solutions or replace incumbents.
  • Opportunity Exploration: Discover and explore business opportunities, working closely with the Solution experts to ensure identification of unmet needs and tailor a solution to address them.
  • Sales Targets: Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Priority Resolution: Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities.
  • Resource Management: Work with senior leadership to ensure meeting account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead joint company-strategic account planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives and critical milestones for short- and long-term periods.
  • Market Engagement: Participate in webinars and virtual and in-person events to understand the market and its ecosystem.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales experience with portfolio offerings to large enterprises
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Sales experience in the trading or shipping industry.
Requirements

  • Proven ability to develop and lead client relationships.
