My client is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Director of Sales with a deep understanding of the Cambridge market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, fostering relationships with key local partners and businesses, and leading a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase occupancy and revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, universities, and key stakeholders within the Cambridge community.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets.
Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships to drive direct bookings and event sales.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns that align with sales objectives.
Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities within Cambridge and beyond.

Proven experience in a senior sales role within the hospitality sector, preferably in Cambridge.
