Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an SDR Team Lead to take their management to the next level, to deliver on team and individual targets, and to accelerate their progression by joining a fast growing sales team.

As a Sales Development Team Lead you are experienced and confident in targeting, engaging, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with prospects to help build a quality pipeline. You are resilient and determined in the face of adversity.

You are motivated to proactively coach and develop your team of 3-4 Sales Reps and set them up for success.

You take ownership of individual and team targets for meetings booked and deal creation, working with Marketing on strategic approaches to develop unique strategies for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting potential clients.
  • Outreach and meeting booking.
  • Managing team targets.
  • Developing graduate SDRs into fully fledged SDRs.
  • Working cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Process improvements and sourcing new tooling to help the team overachieve targets.

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience (preferably as an SDR working with a SaaS or technical product).
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching or managing a team of SDRs.
  • A passion for succeeding within the fast changing world of Sales Development, keeping up to date with best practices and latest tooling.
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC and deal progression.
  • Track record of meeting (and exceeding) sales targets.
  • Experience of multiple methods of outreach (LI, Mail and phone based).
