The Role

R3 is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our Field Sales Organization. The SDR will identify and generate sales meetings and opportunities through inbound and outbound activities, service inbound leads, and qualify prospects. The role involves close collaboration with Account Executives and the Marketing Team to execute outbound lead generation campaigns, conduct market research, and outreach via email, phone, and social media. The SDR will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, demonstrating professionalism, probing for business challenges, and explaining how R3’s Blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology can address their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to, engage, and qualify inbound leads to identify sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to build account intelligence and identify key contacts
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for target accounts
  • Develop and execute prospecting campaigns via phone and email
  • Conduct outreach through phone, email, and social media to generate interest and set appointments
  • Educate leads on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology and R3’s products
  • Promote awareness and drive attendance to projects and events
  • Maintain detailed records of all lead and account interactions
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas

Required Skills

  • 2+ years in business development, inside sales, or sales; some closing experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to exceed targets
  • Knowledge of SDR best practices

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
