Job Purpose

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving the client pipeline for our Fortune 500 clients. The role involves managing a sales region or industry and executing sales campaigns via phone and email to generate leads and accelerate a sales-ready pipeline. Building relationships with C-Suite Executives, Sales VPs, and Territory Managers is key. The person will also assist in creating a territory plan to gather feedback on campaigns and customer trends to optimize sales efforts.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate sales leads to meet client goals
  • Collaborate with team members to develop a pipeline that supports lead generation and revenue growth in a metrics-driven environment
  • Educate and influence clients by articulating the best sales solutions to move deals forward
  • Identify key decision makers, build and maintain relationships, and establish trust with stakeholders
  • Conduct discovery calls, schedule appointments, and prepare call summaries for Account Executives and sales partners
  • Utilize various software tools and client systems for account-based marketing, lead management, and prospect sourcing
  • Extract, prepare, and report sales forecast data and activity reports
  • Participate in client meetings to review sales forecasts and goals
  • Overcome sales objections professionally
