VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading Telecoms and Technology company to recruit a Sales Development Representative to join their talented team.

Salary/Benefits
A competitive package is offered, including £26,000 plus commission with on target earnings of £35,000-£40,000. The role involves reduced targets for the first 6 months, with a 5% gross profit commission on all sales.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in outbound sales within Sales Development or Business Development, focusing on lead generation and qualification.
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in acquiring new clients and expanding business.
  • Target-driven with a proactive attitude and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to think quickly, forecast, and meet sales goals consistently.
  • Experience in Telecoms or Telematics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential leads via LinkedIn, Salesforce, and other channels.
  • Engage with potential clients and decision-makers through phone, email, and social media.
  • Handle objections effectively, working towards positive outcomes.
  • Utilize persuasive and negotiation skills appropriately.
