Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, using creative outreach methods to introduce them to Arketa and demonstrate how we can help their business thrive.

You’ll focus on small and mid-sized wellness studios & entrepreneurs, driving outbound sales through phone calls, emails, social media messaging, and other innovative approaches. Your goal will be to build initial connections with potential clients while managing your pipeline meticulously.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll spend around 4 hours each day reaching out to wellness studios over the phone, building relationships, and sharing how Arketa can transform their business. This hands-on outreach is a crucial part of driving our mission forward—and is perfect for someone who loves engaging with people, thrives on real conversations, and is excited to make a tangible impact every day.

You’ll help AEs get context on each potential customer and help ensure that each customer has a delightful experience with Arketa from beginning to end.

What We’re Looking For
  • Some cold-calling experience, ideally in SMB SaaS, selling to fitness studios, restaurants, or small businesses. Recruiting and real estate experience are also relevant.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Orum (or a similar dialer), Instagram, Loom, Vidyard, and lead sources.
  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required.
  • Fitness Enthusiast: You’ve worked in a fitness studio and understand studio software (bonus if you’ve used Arketa or MindBody).
  • Sales Talent: You’re ready to dive into outbound efforts using phone, email, messaging, and creative outreach.
  • Strong Communicator: You can connect with people easily, articulate ideas clearly in both written and verbal communication, and build rapport.
  • Grit & Determination: You’re persistent and understand that each conversation, immediate or down the road, brings you closer to making an impact. You thrive on connecting with people and overcoming obstacles to drive results.
  • Organized & Driven: You can manage multiple priorities—tracking leads, emails, calls, social outreach—and are resourceful in problem-solving. You’ll keep your work updated in Hubspot and other sales tools.
  • Mission-Aligned: You’re passionate about wellness and eager to help fitness studios grow with Arketa’s platform.

For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $50,000–$85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer equity and performance bonuses as part of total compensation. We are committed to transparent and fair compensation and can provide more details during the interview.
