The Role

To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are now seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our sales department. Being one of the fastest growing Fintech businesses globally we are looking for exceptionally talented and self-motivated person who has a desire to build a career within the Company.

This is an exciting role where you will speak to a range of different customers about their current agreement, or last application at YouLend. Your main task will be building rapport with them, getting to know their business, before offering the opportunity to apply for more funding. You will also be reengaging with customers that previously made an application for more funding, but chose not to proceed.

Responsibilities

  1. Contacting existing customers and offering them the opportunity to apply for more funding.
  2. Contacting customers that previously had an application for funding and chose not to proceed at the time.
  3. Contacting existing customers who historically had funding with YouLend, but have not renewed and currently have no balance left to pay.
  4. Working with a variety of enterprise technology platforms and YouLend proprietary solutions to process applications.
  5. Placing at least 100 phone calls per day and spending 2-3 hours on the phone with established contacts in our network.

Essential Criteria

  1. Target-oriented: A strong desire to work in sales and achieve targets.
  2. Motivation: Experience working towards KPIs and engage with multiple business owners daily.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Networking Skills: Ability to leverage existing networks and build new relationships with merchants.
  5. Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with various enterprise technology platforms and proprietary solutions.

Desirable Criteria

  1. Experience in Sales: Previous experience in a sales role, particularly in the fintech industry.
  2. Customer Service Orientation: Ensuring business owners have all the necessary information to submit their applications.

Salary: £29,000 + up to £7k annual bonus
