Business Development Representative (BDR) – Consultative Sales
Maidstone | £35,000 to £40,000 basic plus commission | Hybrid (1 day a week in office)

I’m currently working with a well-established client in the international payment security space who have been trading successfully for over 20 years. Their clients include some of the top four global banks, and they’re now entering an exciting growth phase – which is where you come in.

They’re looking to bring on a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support their expansion strategy. This is not your typical high-volume cold calling role. Instead, the focus is on consultative, relationship-driven sales – identifying the right businesses, understanding their challenges, and introducing bespoke solutions.

What they’re looking for:

A confident, well-spoken and articulate communicator
Someone who writes clearly and persuasively
A consultative sales approach – you’ll be expected to listen first and sell second
Previous B2B sales experience would be ideal, but attitude and communication are key

What’s on offer:

A base salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
A competitive commission structure
Hybrid working – one day a week in the Maidstone office
The chance to work with a company trusted by the biggest names in finance
A long-term opportunity with plenty of room for growth

This role would suit someone who wants to be part of a highly respected, specialist firm where quality of conversation is valued over quantity of calls.

If this sounds like the kind of sales environment where you’d thrive, I’d love to speak with you.
