WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Sales Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development of sales through strategic partners across the UK & Ireland. This role complements the End Customer program, focusing on demand creation, identifying new end customer accounts, and exploring mutual business fit and potential for long-term revenue. These target accounts will be identified through deep analysis of the local market, prominent segments, governmental spend, new legislation, and regulations.

This position requires a blend of market understanding, commercial acumen, industry competence, and technical skills. The ability to understand and influence the customer journey, aligned with Axis's strategic priorities, will be key. Education is fundamental at Axis, and you will need to create awareness and educate about Axis solutions internally at regional, EMEA, and global levels, and externally across partner networks.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Build a pipeline of new potential customer accounts across different segments.
  2. Identify, nurture, and develop accounts up to transactional relationships, then hand over to the KAM End Customer organization.
  3. Develop and implement a UK & Ireland strategy to position Axis as the #1 choice.
  4. Collaborate with the global sales organization and other regions to develop best practices and strategic alignment.
  5. Identify and develop relationships with new and existing technical and commercial partners.
  6. Assist in planning and executing Axis's digital transformation event strategy.
  7. Provide awareness and education through webinars, events, tours, and promote Axis values.
  8. Identify key industry forums and become a thought leader in them.

Additionally, we would like you to have:

  • A degree in Business Administration or relevant experience.
  • Experience in a similar sales role with a hunter profile.
  • Strong technical interest or experience in technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Natural presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in indirect sales models (preferably).
  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken.
