Essex County Council (ECC) is supporting Castle Point Borough Council in recruiting a Sales and Customer Services Officer on a part-time, permanent basis.
Castle Point Borough Council employs nearly 350 staff and delivers over 150 council services, both statutory and community-focused. The council aims to provide high-quality, financially sustainable services with a focus on outstanding customer service, transparency, and community well-being. It is committed to modernizing and improving its performance to support strong, healthy, and thriving communities.
This role involves operating front-of-house reception at our leisure facilities at Waterside Farm and Runnymede leisure centre. It is a customer-facing position requiring excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and a friendly approach.
You will also promote and generate income through marketing, booking, and selling memberships, goods, and services.
The role follows a two-week rota cycle.
