About The Role

Are you the type of person who enjoys regularly interacting with customers, offering support with inquiries, and seamlessly converting them into sales? If so, this could be the role for you. We’re looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills who thrive in a busy operational environment to join our team and help us deliver our customer promise: to delight every customer, every time.

The national product sales and distribution hub, which includes warehousing, dedicated internal sales support, and a business development team, is continuing to grow. With this expansion, we now have opportunities for Sales Coordinators to join the team on the Product Sales Desk.

Your responsibilities will include quoting and transacting product sales inquiries generated by the depot network, external sales teams, hubs, and direct customer inquiries. Your duties will also include:

  • Sales enquiry quotation management and conversion
  • Sales order processing and supplier PO placement
  • Customer invoice management
  • Customer relationship management

To succeed as a Sales Coordinator, you should have the following skills and behaviors:

  • Strong administrative and customer service skills
  • Previous product sales experience and knowledge (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiating and influencing; ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Results-driven mindset
  • Ability to use judgment and initiative within company policies and pricing structures
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to handle a varied, fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with high accuracy
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and process enhancement
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ideally in sales operating systems; enthusiasm for learning new IT systems and leveraging technology
