Job Title – Sales Consultant – Spa Holidays

Department/Sector – Travel

Job Location – London

Salary – £20k with a £36k OTE

Our client is an online spa booking company that pride themselves on the customer experience. They are looking for a sales consultant to join their team.

They operate in the UK and abroad and offer spa days, holidays for singletons, hen parties and theatre packages.

The role is a fast-paced and driven environment, you will work as part of a dynamic team liaising between clients and venues to book all elements of a customer’s spa break.

Shift Patterns:

  • Monday to Friday, shift patterns between 8.30 am and 8.00 pm
  • Saturday working may be required between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on a rota basis, dependent upon business requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Act in a professional and efficient manner to phone and email enquiries
  • Take details from the customer
  • Communicate in a polite and friendly way to identify the customer’s exact needs and requirements
  • Communicate with the various reservations departments at specific venues in order to check availability and discuss availability, treatment times and specifications maintaining the professional relationship
  • Follow up with customers, venues and other third parties to close sales and take payment
  • Identify potential new business from old leads
  • Use initiative to up-sell and cross-sell other products to the customer
  • To maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times through ongoing training

Skills required:

  • You will have at least six months telesales experience
  • A team player, with the ability to communicate with different departments and clients
  • Carry effective organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
