We are looking for a part-time Sales Consultant to join our elegant Miele Experience Centre in the Grand Arcade in Cambridge. The role involves working three days a week, totaling 22 hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Miele Experience Centres differ from typical retail stores, with lower footfall but higher-value customer transactions. We aim to provide a premium experience for every customer, whether they are outfitting a new kitchen or purchasing replacement detergents.
In this role, you will be...
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be a natural salesperson, confident in hosting clients, providing detailed quotes, and delivering memorable in-store demonstrations. You should be able to build relationships with clients and manage a longer sales process involving multiple visits and discussions. Previous experience in lifestyle sales or delivering bespoke solutions in a store environment is preferred.
You will work as part of a team to meet sales targets for yourself and the team. Our customers are loyal and inquisitive; therefore, you should be able to adapt your communication style across telephone, face-to-face, and written interactions. Confidence and professionalism in responding to quotations and queries are essential.
You should have previous experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating credibility and confidence. Passion and pride in representing the brand, multitasking ability, IT literacy, and teamwork skills are crucial to achieving excellent results.
