Job Title – Sales Consultant – Fluent Spanish or German

Job Location – London

Salary – 18k-25k Basic with a 35k plus OTE

My client has been in the cruise sector for over 40 years and is recruiting salespeople who can speak fluent Spanish or German. Travel sales experience is not essential as training will be given.

In this role, you will sell worldwide cruise holidays to clients by building customer relationships. We are looking for someone who can build rapport, match the perfect cruise and services to our clients, drive direct sales, and ensure an overall superior customer service compared to our competitors.

In this role, you will speak daily about promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades, on-board credits, and other shipboard amenities.

Responsibilities:
  • Convert enquiries from both Travel Agents and Direct Guests into sales
  • Match individual customers
  • Resolve Travel Agent and Guest queries promptly
  • Upsell on stateroom accommodation
  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service
  • Provide each call with the features and benefits
  • Consistently exceed customers’ expectations
  • Achieve first call resolution on sales enquiries
  • Handle a large volume of incoming calls
  • Receive and action sales enquiries via email and fax as they are received
  • Participate in 1-2-1’s/Appraisals on a monthly basis
Skills/Experience Needed:
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or German
  • Exceptional sales skills
  • Galileo or Amadeus experience would be an advantage
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to work in a Customer Service Role
  • IT Literate – experience with Travel Reservation Systems and MS Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Must be a strong clear communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work well as part of a Team, dedicated and flexible
