POSITION INFORMATION

The Part-time Chantecaille Sales Consultant, working 4 days a week, will serve as the brand ambassador at the John Lewis, Oxford Street counter. Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, understanding individual and team sales goals, maintaining the store environment, and assisting with administrative and housekeeping duties.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE

· Achieve sales targets set by the company, focusing on items per transaction, average sale value, and sales mix.

· Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.

EVENTS

· Execute promotional events following guidelines provided by the Counter manager, Account executive, or Head Office.

STOCK MANAGEMENT

· Assist with daily stock handling, rotation, hygiene supplies replenishment, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

· Keep drawers and storage areas tidy, reporting discrepancies to the Counter manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT MAINTENANCE

· Participate in cleaning display units, tools, and testers regularly, with thorough cleaning at night.

· Maintain an organized work area, replacing damaged or finished products with authorization.

· Ensure proper placement and condition of merchandise on counters and shelves.

· Report store maintenance, health, safety issues, hazards, or accidents to management.

TEAMWORK

· Complete assigned administrative tasks and services as directed by the Counter Manager.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.

· Provide excellent internal customer service and foster good working relationships.

ADMINISTRATION

· Assist with inventory counts and complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

· Retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused beauty environment.

· Advanced knowledge of beauty products.

· Proven ability to meet sales targets.

· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

· Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Flexible working hours, including early/late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.

· Experience in luxury beauty and department stores is desirable but not essential.

· Beauty Therapy Level 3 qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
