Job description

With increasing demand for the world’s leading automotive brand, we are looking to add another member to our team with an outgoing and customer focussed Sales Consultant.

Although automotive experience would be our preference, we are open to all with a willingness to learn and succeed. You may have gained your experience in any other sector, such as Travel, Retail, Hospitality, or something else!

In addition to this someone with experience in the fleet motor sector would be advantageous.

All we ask is that you can use your excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and product knowledge to make every customer’s experience memorable, and to exceed their expectations and needs.

Sales Consultant

£26,000 - £32,000 basic salary

Achieving realistic sales targets lead to an uncapped OTE

(Guaranteed pro rata OTE £42500 for initial 3 month period)

Plus Pension and Career Progression

The Sales Consultant role:

As a Sales Consultant, you are responsible for identifying and developing prospects, working with individual customers to build rapport, understand their needs, guiding them towards the most appropriate product, finalising the sale and handover of the vehicle.

What a day-to-day might look like:

+ Building rapport and qualifying your understanding of the customer’s needs/desires

+ Carrying out telephone prospecting and following up on various marketing activities

+ Maintaining the customer database

+ Coordinating orders and the delivery of vehicles with the Sales Admin department

+ Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets

+ Maintaining an active part in product training and keeping up to date with latest news in the automotive industry
