Virgin Active in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sales Membership Consultant to join the Acquisitions team. You’ll be the friendly face members see, handling inquiries, driving membership sales, and supporting club operations to deliver world-class service.

You’ll tailor offers to individuals and local corporate prospects, own monthly targets, and take on duty shifts as needed. The role offers a premium gym environment with strong progression and extensive staff benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support club operations and provide outstanding customer service.
• Occasionally cover Duty Shift as required.

We are looking for a Sales Membership Consultant to join our Acquisitions team.

The Role

• Acting as the point of contact for members, elevating their member experience at every touchpoint. Addressing member inquiries and uphold meticulous standards of administration and support.
• Creating a presence and a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the club, from acting as Front of House, to providing new Member visits.
• Taking ownership of your membership targets, striving for excellence in sales, retention, and growth every month.
• Ensuring that all activity targets are met to achieve our desired net growth.
• Tailoring membership offerings to meet individual needs and expand corporate memberships to prospects within the immediate locality of the club.
• Providing advice on all activities related to Exercise Experience and products offered by Virgin Active.
• Supporting the smooth operation of your club and consistently provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Taking on the responsibilities of the Duty Shift as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the needs of the business, leading by example in all aspects of club management.

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous experience of working in a customer centric, target driven role (desirable but not essential).
• Strong interpersonal skills that make you approachable to members, prospects, and colleagues alike.
• Good communication skills.
