Job description

Notable within their vicinity as being the 'go to jeweller' of first customer choice, this family-owned business represents the very best of their industry. Bringing to market the highest quality coloured gemstones, diamonds & pearls alongside the best of available brands be it luxury watches or fine jewellery.

Their after-sales service capability continues to grow in breadth and depth - spanning watch, clock, and jewellery repairs as well as silverware restoration and pearl stringing. Individual Jewellery commissions can be undertaken, Fair Trade precious metals can be sourced and to top it all the team has regular access to a widely renown registered Valuer.

Job Role:

The store is now wishing to hire an additional sales floor talent able to confidently represent & sell both watch & jewellery merchandise. You need to operate when in-store in a very disciplined and professional manner and alongside customer service you have other avenues of talent that can assist the smooth running of the store.

These could be as varied as: visual merchandising, wider initiative taking to generate store interest, an aptitude to network and engage with out-of-store clientele needing response dialogue through social media, or handling eCommerce inquiries with matched authorised stockist efficiency.

First impressions are always important in such an emporium setting - so it is a requirement to be attired in smart business dress and to similarly project a level of articulation that is polite, courteous, and innately knowledgeable underscored by always appreciating that 'customers are king'.

Requirements:
  • The trading philosophy is very much focused on delivering 'best service experience 'and it is felt that the ideal candidate should already have experience working within the jewellery trade.
  • It would be very much advantageous if there was evidence of previous professional training be it either from the National Association of Jewellers (JET 1 / JET 2) or possibly watch house sales training accreditation from a reputed manufacture.

Our client's enterprise is more than willing to invest in their team collective to train and to continue professional development once secure within role. So should a training opportunity arise that could be beneficial to the business the company directors subject first to their approval and a few clearly outlined attached conditions would contribute to ensuring you have access to this further career enhancing pathway.

A tremendous company to keep, ever striving to exceed over & above industry best expectations - proud of being locally based & owned and with each generation of service that has past their legacy & future reputation continues to shine ever more brightly.
