Sales Consultant: Regional Sales

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time: 37.5 hours

Department: External Sales

Location: The successful candidate should live in the PR, BB postcode areas with quick access to motorway networks.

Our client provides automation and fluid control solutions for factory and laboratory applications across sectors such as automotive, food, beverage & packaging, and life sciences.

They are a wholly-owned subsidiary of their Japanese parent company. The UK operation is based on a 14-acre site in Milton Keynes, housing offices, design, manufacturing, and warehousing facilities.

The Person:

The Role:

Focus on expanding business within the machine & device manufacturers sector by engaging with senior management, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Create and implement a sales plan.
  • Develop sales by understanding customer needs and building strong relationships.
  • Promote corporate value propositions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Maintain good relationships with distributor sales partners.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities using CRM systems.

Skills and Experience:

While sales experience and an engineering-based technical qualification are preferred, attitude is more important. If you have drive, competitiveness, and people skills, even without experience, we encourage you to apply.
