Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Sales Compensation Manager (Evergreen) in London to design, implement and govern our global sales compensation plans. You will partner with senior stakeholders in Sales, HR, Finance and Operations to deliver scalable, fair and motivating programs.

You will lead annual planning cycles, model incentives, ensure policy compliance and drive improvements through data analytics. The role champions diversity and inclusion in compensation design and supports a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales compensation, finance, or sales operations in a global organization.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales compensation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with CRM and compensation management software (e.g., Sales Cloud, Xactly, Callidus, SAP).

About the Role

The Sales Compensation Manager will manage lead the design, implementation, and govern our sales compensation plans across multiple business units. Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
