The Role

We’re looking for a confident communicator — whether a graduate, early-career salesperson, or ex-estate/recruitment consultant — to join our expanding team as a Sales Design Consultant.

You’ll manage inbound enquiries only, guiding clients from their initial design idea through to signed project agreements. This is a hands-on, people-driven role where every sale you make turns into a physical, high-value project you can be proud of.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound leads via phone, email, messages, and website platform
  • Qualify enquiries, build rapport, and understand each client’s design goals
  • Arrange and attend on-site surveys and client meetings (measurements, photos, discussions)
  • Prepare and issue quotations, proposals, and payment milestone schedules
  • Track progress using CRM and Excel — ensuring consistent follow-ups and updates
  • Liaise with directors and project managers to hand over confirmed projects smoothly
  • Represent Build Abode professionally at all times, maintaining our reputation for excellence
What We’re Looking For
  • Full UK driving licence + own car (essential)
  • Excellent written and spoken English — confident, professional, and articulate
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience a plus
  • Motivated, personable, and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment
  • Backgrounds that fit well: estate agency, lettings, recruitment, or customer-facing sales — though ambitious graduates are equally encouraged to apply
