Overview

Role: Sales & Business Development Coordinator

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 + Commission

Location: Stoke, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK (West Midlands catchment).

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused Sales & Business Development Coordinator to join our Commercial team in Stoke, covering the West Midlands catchment. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will develop and promote the company's hiring business, supporting in achieving KPIs and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Relationship building is key to this role. You will be highly organised, driven, tenacious, a self-starter, confident, and reliable.

Experience in business development, customer service and sales (office based) is preferred. You will be working in a supportive environment, with positive and helpful colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out structured business development, local and national campaigns, including winning new business within the area designated, in order to achieve order targets
  • Review & finalise quotations and drawings against customer requirements
  • Follow up live quotations to generate urgency in the sale and advance a client through to order
  • Respond to customer enquiries to generate orders
  • Maximise added value for every opportunity by promoting the full range of Building Services
  • Complete customer care programme to ensure maximum satisfaction, continuity of business and maximise referral opportunities
Essential Criteria
  • Proven solid business development experience and activities; comfortable building new relationships
  • Ability to tackle demanding goals with enthusiasm
  • Confidently follow up and close sales quotations
  • Ability to build a wide and effective network of contacts inside and outside the organisation
  • Strong IT skills with internal systems; maintain up-to-date customer information
  • Full UK Driving Licence
