Sales Branch Manager

Up to circa £40,000 plus bonus

Glasgow (onsite)

We are working with a global engineering firm with offices in Glasgow to take ownership of one of the offices in Govan, overseeing both commercial and operational functions. You’ll be responsible for driving profitability, leading a high-performing team, and strengthening key client relationships to ensure continued success.

Day to day you will:

1. Take full P&L ownership, drive profitable growth, and develop new business opportunities.
2. Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring strong operational delivery.
3. Build lasting client relationships and develop strategic partnerships to meet evolving demands.
4. Implement robust processes to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
5. Identify opportunities for expansion, improve service offerings, and drive a customer-first approach.

We are looking for someone with:

1. A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in a management role.
2. Experience within engineering, distribution, manufacturing or similar.
3. Experience owning P&L and successfully managing profit and cost centres.
4. Strong leadership skills with experience in motivating and influencing a team.
5. Commercial expertise in sales, key account development and customer relationship management.
6. A data-driven, process orientated mindset with a keen focus on continuous improvement.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
8. Confidence and drive to challenge the status quo and push business performance to the next level.
