What will you be doing?

Working closely with the Trauma North Team, you will develop and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders. You will participate in customer education in the field, support Sales Representatives to increase customer engagement and achieve commercial success. You will actively pursue business opportunities within targeted accounts, demonstrating exemplary customer service and patient focus.

This role provides an opportunity to develop skills necessary to become an effective Sales Representative, learning techniques to grow sales of Stryker Trauma products within a defined territory.

You will learn to manage business in existing accounts, handle stock issues, instrument requirements, organize loan kits, and conduct regular customer training. You will also learn to provide guidance on the safe use of Stryker products in hospital and operating theatre environments.

You will support all products within the Trauma portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Support Sales Representatives in promoting and demonstrating orthopaedic trauma products to NHS and private hospitals.
  2. Assist in achieving sales targets and KPI metrics.
  3. Learn anatomical structures, clinical procedures, and surgical techniques to demonstrate medical equipment effectively.
  4. Understand the orthopaedic market, including competitors and customer needs.
  5. Support product trials and evaluations in clinical settings to drive sales.
  6. Ensure the safe and effective use of company technology.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  8. Organize and conduct training workshops for surgical and theatre staff.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments and product knowledge.

The Sales Associate must live or relocate to Northern Ireland.
