Job Introduction

As a Sales Associate, you are an essential part of a team that creates the extraordinary experiences our customers expect from Selfridges.

Customer service is at the heart of what you do; you will be an expert on all things Selfridges and the go-to person to help our customers. You are fully knowledgeable about everything in the store, including the latest products, events, and services that only Selfridges can offer.

As a Sales Associate, you will:

  • Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience by building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and catering to customer needs.
  • Conduct sales, refunds, and exchanges, helping customers find suitable alternative items or guiding them to our online services.
  • Maintain high retail standards by selling, replenishing stock, organizing rails, and hosting.
  • Be receptive to customer feedback and use it constructively to improve service, sales, and retail standards.
  • Manage and oversee stock in your department, including unpacking deliveries, completing audits, and maintaining the stockroom.
  • Adapt to daily challenges; the role is flexible, and you may work across different departments, bringing your service excellence and collaborative spirit.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends by expanding your product knowledge and understanding of competitors.
  • Follow health, safety, and security procedures, actively preventing stock loss.
  • Support the interview process, which includes competency and strength-based questions, with available assistance at every stage.
