Job Summary: The Sales Associate will support the Store Leadership Team to achieve all company goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include modeling and maintaining excellent customer service through effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques. The role also involves maintaining merchandise presentation, replenishment, sizing, and ensuring the store and backroom are clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing customer assistance
  • Greet and acknowledge customers, providing appropriate service
  • Communicate the value and quality of merchandise, share current promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items
  • Address customer concerns effectively and exercise sound judgment
  • Apply appropriate selling skills to positively impact sales conversion
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cash register while educating customers about the PLACE Card
  • Maintain stock levels, ensuring all sizes and styles are available
  • Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display
  • Support a neat, clean, and organized stockroom adhering to safety standards
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain store standards
  • Follow Loss Prevention procedures to safeguard company assets
  • Report maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a safe environment
  • Contribute to store goals through focused efforts
  • Be flexible in processing stock as needed

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
