Purpose

As a Sales Associate, you will maintain outstanding customer service per company standards, achieve individual sales goals, drive team collaboration, uphold True Religion merchandising standards, and safeguard company assets.

Responsibilities

1. Greet and acknowledge every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all aspects of customer service.
2. Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
3. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
4. Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
5. Assist in completing price changes within the department.
6. Operate a computerized point of sale cash register and inventory management system, including accurate sales entry, receiving payments, processing credit card transactions, making correct change, processing refunds, exchanges, voids, and issuing gift certificates and credit slips.
7. Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits and end-of-day reports for management.
8. Utilize knowledge of all retail merchandise, including pricing, special considerations, and stock locations.
9. Perform merchandise receipt processing, including POS entry, inspection, tagging, stocking, and display; report damages or wrong shipments to management.
10. Maintain store appearance, keeping merchandise organized and attractively displayed. Dust, clean shelves, fold T-shirts, and arrange merchandise for optimal visual presentation.
