Job description

Job Profile: Sales Associate

Location: Sumter Mall

Reports To: Store Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader


Position Purpose

At Great American Cookies, the Sales Associate is an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the cookie store and is the face of the company in the eyes of our guests. Their top priority is to facilitate a fun and exciting experience for every customer. The associate works under the supervision of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Shift Leader to ensure our guests have a positive experience and keep coming back.


Dimensions

This position reports to the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Shift Leader in a particular operating location, performing a wide range of tasks including preparing ingredients, baking, decorating, and ringing up customers. The Sales Associate works in a fast-paced environment and must be able to quickly prioritize and switch tasks to meet company needs.


Primary Accountabilities

In addition to following The Cookie Place, Inc.'s policies and procedures, principle accountabilities are, but are not limited to:

Daily Responsibilities

  • Serve guests and create an exciting experience.
  • Operate a register and ensure accountability of money.
  • Decorate cookies and cakes with a wide variety of templates.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the store and all preparation areas.
  • Prepare ingredients for baking and decorating.
  • Ensures that all Company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Adhere to all Great American Cookie and The Cookie Place, Inc. standards.
  • Perform other duties as required by their manager.
