Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Taunton store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.61 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 12 hours per week. Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina for a fast-paced shop floor, and remain calm under pressure.

As a Key Holder, you will be trustworthy and responsible for key activities, including:

  • Opening & closing the store as required
  • Managing store keys
  • Approaching customers and providing knowledgeable product information
  • Serving customers at the till and processing transactions
  • Recommending and promoting complementary products
  • Collaborating with your team to meet sales targets and KPIs
  • Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are full
  • Processing stock deliveries promptly
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor
  • Performing additional duties as needed

Salary: Up to £12.61 per hour plus non-contractual sales commission.
