Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Truro store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.61 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders, play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 10 hours per week. Ideal candidate: If you have energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this is the role for you!

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

As a Key Holder, you will be a trustworthy individual responsible for the following key activities:

  • Open & close the store as required.
  • Manage a set of store keys responsibly.
  • Approach customers and provide helpful, knowledgeable information on products.
  • Serve customers at the till, processing sales transactions.
  • Recommend and promote complementary products with each sale.
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Continuously replenish stock to keep shelves full.
  • Process stock deliveries promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy shop floor to high standards.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

  • Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
  • Drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
  • Methodical approach to daily tasks, including stock SKU management.

  • Availability to work 10 hours per week, any day from Monday to Sunday.

Salary/Pay: up to £12.61 per hour plus performance-related bonus.
