Come and join us as a results-driven Sales Assistant on a flexible hours basis to deliver sales and exceed customer expectations as part of a successful branch team. You will be contracted to 16 hours a week but will have the flexibility to work up to 37.5 hours a week to cover peak trading hours, holidays, and meet business needs.

The role:

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering outstanding service, professional, driven, and enthusiastic. The role involves customer-facing activities, providing the best service on our trade counter and over the phone, maximizing sales at every opportunity. You’ll promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and enjoy some fun along the way!

You will be contracted to 16 hours a week but will work a flexible pattern of up to 37.5 hours to meet business needs. Hours and shifts will be scheduled with notice to ensure clarity and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimal margins.
• Maintaining high standards, creating a loyal customer base, and providing first-class service.
• Assisting with general branch duties such as serving customers, telesales, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Potentially undertaking general driving duties when required.

You:

Enjoy working within a team, focused on results, acting with integrity and honesty. Flexible with working hours, able to work up to 37.5 hours weekly. Previous experience in selling or assisting customers is preferred.
