Job Purpose

You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with in-store colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals and DIY enthusiasts. You will use your people skills to help maximize the sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store. You will also carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses.

This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, and you need to be flexible to work shifts between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in engagement planning and monthly store meetings.
  • Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, informed conversations, and personalized proposals.
  • Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Support your store's monthly customer contact plan.
  • Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor.
  • Load the van and plan delivery routes.
  • Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do the same using our training tools.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer service or retail role.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
  • Calm under pressure.
