Sales Assistant / Driver

Crown Paints is seeking to recruit a Sales Assistant / Driver to join our team based in Edinburgh, Sighthill.

The role is a temporary, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday and some Saturdays on a rota basis). There is potential for this role to become permanent.

In return, we offer a salary of £12.21 per hour plus bonus and an excellent benefits package.

What you can expect from this role

As a Sales Assistant/Driver, you will work alongside the store team, supporting the Store Manager in delivering sustainable and profitable sales growth for Crown Paints. A positive and motivated approach is essential for contributing to the store’s targets, driving innovative and effective sales with our range of decorative paints and sundry items.

The Sighthill Crown Decorating Centre (CDC) is a vibrant store and a key part of our national network, which includes 148 stores across the UK. Our customer base ranges from one-off retail customers to builders and tradespeople with accounts and repeat business. Your role will include identifying potential new customers, establishing positive relationships, and opening customer accounts regularly.
